Flannery (Special Costume) & Magcargo make their Pokémon Masters EX debut in a limited-time set of Costume Scouts alongside the continuing Pasio Hot Spring Fever Costume Event. The Flannery Costume Scout and Flannery Costume Tiered Scout will run through until June 1st, at 10:59pm (PDT). The associated Flannery Costume Featured Ticket Scout and Flannery Costume Guaranteed Ticket Scout meanwhile will run through to June 8th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Pokémon UNITE's latest update, “Revival Stars Part2”, was released on May 14th and brings balance adjustments for various Pokémon, alongside the usual bug fixes, and Shop and Event updates. Specifically, this update provides buffs (⇧) for Pikachu, Meowscarada, Goodra, Aegislash, Duraludon, Metagross, Urshifu, and Typhlosion; both buffs and nerfs (⇧⇩) for Charizard; while bringing nerfs (⇩) for Sirfetch’d, Articuno, Mega Charizard Y, Suicune, Zapdos, Inteleon, and Dragapult.

The Pokémon Company’s disaster relief program, Pokémon With You, has announced two construction projects in an effort to revitalize Noto Peninsula, after the area suffered a major earthquake in January of 2024. The first, a Pokémon-themed footbath, held its opening ceremony this week, restoring part of the previously damaged Yuttari Park. Following their first collection of 30th anniversary merch this year, Japan-based retailer Uniqlo is launching a new line inspired by Generation I pixel art. Uniqlo’s sister store, GU, is also debuting a 30th anniversary collection, this one with a seafaring, summery theme. Major news for Pokémon fans in Thailand was announced today, as the first ever Thai location of a Pokémon Center has been scheduled to open sometime this year. This will be the third Pokémon Center currently located outside Japan, joining branches in Singapore and Taipei, Taiwan. While its exact opening date is still forthcoming, the store will be opening in CentralWorld, the ninth largest shopping center in the world, located in central Bangkok.
