Players today are getting another chance to partner up with two of Lillie's Sync Pairs with the return of the Festive Sun and Moon Story Event from the game's 5 Year Anniversary Celebrations, and the latest set of rallies as part of the ongoing 30-Year Celebrations. Also launching today is the game's latest Monthly Poké Fair, featuring Akari & Samurott.

The 2026 Pokémon Indianapolis Regional Championships was the first official tournament outside of Asia to take place within Pokémon Champions. It featured 1,013 players battling for prize money and invites to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, and was ultimately won by Arsal Puri alongside Mega Charizard Y and Mega Floette.

The Paradox Drive Emblem Event is now underway in Pokémon TCG Pocket, giving players the opportunity to acquire emblems to set on their in-game player profiles. This event is set to run through to June 9th, at 10:59pm (PDT) / June 10th, at 5:59am (UTC).

As previewed in the recent monthly update from the game's developers, Ethan debuts his Neo Champion sync pair with Raikou today in Pokémon Masters EX in a new EX Master Fair Scout. Alongside this scout, Ethan and Lyra are taking center stage in the brand new Neo Champions event, Rising Thunder and Flames.

The 2026 Singapore Master Ball League was an official National-level tournament taking place within Pokémon Champions. The event was held from 23–24 May 2026, and featured 100 players battling for an invite to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships. The tournament was won by 2023 Thailand National Finalist Krittapas Augchariyajinda alongside Mega Glimmora.

Pokémon Center Singapore, located inside Jewel Changi Airport, has been closed since April 1st for its first major renovation project. The store has now announced its reopening date, as well as revealing its new logo featuring Solgaleo, a collection of commemorative merch for the new opening, and a sneak peak inside the new store. The newly renovated store will reopen on July 1st, though entry will be restricted for the first five days of opening with a queue and ticket system.

The Pokémon Company is continuing their special 30th anniversary merchandise series, Timeless Adventure, now debuting a collection themed after Sinnoh after first visiting Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. The Sinnoh drop is a bit small for a Pokémon Center collection, and like some of the previous Timeless Adventure sets, will only be available via the Pokémon Center Online for customers in Japan, beginning June 4th. The Sinnoh Timeless Adventure merch has a “meeting” theme, with art depicting the Gen IV starters and Pikachu greeting each other outside the Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop. As mentioned, this collection is a little small, containing only five pieces. A file folder will retail for ¥495 ($3.11), a sticker set retails for ¥770 ($4.83 USD), an acrylic decor block retails for ¥2,860 ($17.95 USD), and an acrylic keychain will be ¥935 ($5.87 USD). A new version of Pokémon Masters EX, Ver. 2.69.0, is now available to download. With this update, the game's general producer, Tetsuya Iguchi, has revealed information on the brand new Neo Champions Event commencing soon, featuring two Neo Champion Sync Pairs from Johto, along with information on other events coming to the game in June.

The Pokémon Trainers Cup 2026 was an official National-level tournament in which South Korean players battled in Pokémon Champions to earn invites to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships. The event ran from 24–25 May 2026, and was won by 2x Trainers Cup Finalist Jeongso Lee alongside Mega Charizard Y and Mega Floette.

A collaboration between Pokémon UNITE and Pokémon Horizons will take place throughout June, with characters from the animated series appearing in-game. An upcoming anime episode will see Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult visit Aeos Island. As part of the collaboration, Skeledirge and Quaquaval will be joining the fray this month, on June 4th and June 19th, respectively.

The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) is partnering with two major entertainment experience companies, Moment Factory and Mitsui Fudosan, for a new Pokémon project scheduled to debut in Europe in Spring of 2027. Very little about the new project has been revealed, other than it will be an immersive Pokémon experience combining the entertainment expertise of the partnered companies. After its debut in Europe, the project is expected to tour multiple regions.

The first wave of Target’s special 30th anniversary Pokémon collection had its highly anticipated (and somewhat chaotic) debut on May 3rd, and now the retail giant is showing off all the new items coming in the second wave. The new drop will have a bigger focus on summery items, including beach towels and toys, but will also have plenty of apparel like the first wave. The second wave is expected to arrive in-store on June 6th and online at Target’s website on June 7th.

The 2026 Victory Road May Challenge #4 was a grassroots tournament held in Pokémon Champions from 23–24 May 2026. The event featured 215 players battling for a prize of $730 USD, and was ultimately won by 2020 Knoxville Regional Champion Kyle Livinghouse alongside Mega Froslass and an uncommon pick in the Rock- and Bug-type Kleavor.

The No Glitches Allowed marathon will be returning from May 27th to May 31st, with a "pre-show" featuring Breath of Fire 2 taking place today. The marathon will be raising money for GO Rescue Pet Adoption Center, a nonprofit organization based out of Norfolk, Virginia focused on rescuing dogs and finding them new homes. Runs of Pokémon Rumble and Pokémon Puzzle League will both feature in the marathon, which can be watched on its official Twitch channel.

The third batch of new episodes from Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope, the third season of Pokémon Horizons: The Series, is now streaming on BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom. This batch consists of 9 episodes (consisting of the first half of the Rising Again arc), and will be airing one episode per day on CBBC and CBBC HD from Monday to Thursday for the next three weeks.

Episodes from the 9th season of Pokémon the Series, “Pokémon: Battle Frontier”, are now available on the Pokémon TV YouTube channel, with five new episodes being added per week. These uploads have audio tracks in a total of 14 languages and closed captions in 2 languages.

Pokémon Masters Day is here again in Pokémon Masters EX. Accompanying the usual collection of regular events and presents on offer is a Triple Feature Master Fair Scout, plus multiple One-Time-Only Scouts featuring Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs. Three Sync Pairs are also receiving Sync Grid upgrades alongside this monthly event.

Honestly, this latest episode of Pokémon Horizons was just a relaxing way to kick off the new arc. In a way, this feels like a post-game or epilogue of a Pokémon story. Basically, what lies beyond the end of a journey. I'm excited to see more of Liko and the gang until the start of the Gen 10 games, and what lies in store for the Rising Volt Tacklers as their adventures continue.

The latest Pokémon to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE is Meganium, a Melee Supporter with Novice difficulty that deals Special damage. Until Wednesday, June 17th, players can clear event missions to collect exclusive coins and exchange them for Meganium's Unite License.

The Pokémon Company is debuting their latest merchandise collection, もぐもぐウォッチング！ (loosely, Munch Munch Watching!), which features different Pokémon eating their snacks. The collection features unique plushes, plenty of home goods, accessories, and stationery. The new merch will arrive at Pokémon Centers in Japan on May 30th, and at the Pokémon Center Online on May 28th.
