Gigantamax Meowth will be featured in Pokémon GO's upcoming Max Battle Day this weekend on Sunday February 15th, running as usual from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. Lucky Trainers may also encounter Gigantamax Meowth in its Shiny variant during this event.
The Therian Form of the Love-Hate Pokémon Enamorus will be making its Pokémon GO debut in the game's latest Raid Day event, which is being held on Valentine's Day, this coming Saturday February 14th, running as usual from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

The Fox Pokémon, Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's February 2026 Community Day, which will be held at the very beginning of the month on Sunday, February 1st, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. During this event, Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with their Shiny variant, and some that has a Special Background. Scopely have also announced the dates of the next Season's Community Days and other events.
Dynamax Ho-Oh will be making its debut in five-star Max Battles in Pokémon GO's next Max Battle Weekend, running from Saturday, January 31st, at 6:00am to Sunday, February 1st, at 9:00pm local time. Lucky Trainers may also encounter Dynamax Lugia in its Shiny variant during this event.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A version 2.0.1 is now available to download for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. This update allows Trainers to purchase multiple berries at once and increases the maximum amount of Mega Shards that a Trainer can have to 9,999. It also fixes several minor bugs to enhance the gameplay experience. This update is required to access Internet features.
Glimmet, the Ore Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut in the Into the Depths event, which will run from Tuesday, January 27th, at 10:00am, to Sunday, February 1st, at 8:00pm local time. Klawf, the Ambush Pokémon, is making its Pokémon GO debut next week in the Pinch Perfect event, which is running from Tuesday, January 6th, at 10:00am through to Sunday, January 11th, at 8:00pm local time. Shiny Dhelmise will also be appearing for the first time as part of this event.
The Penguin Pokémon Piplup will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's next Community Day Classic event early next month on Sunday, January 4th. During the event, which will run from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time, Piplup and its Shiny variant will be appearing more frequently in the wild, sometimes also having a Special Background.
Trainers can look forward to a number of activities, bonuses, and events that will be running in-game in Pokémon GO throughout January with the continuation of the Precious Paths season, including a new GO Pass.
Pokémon GO is once again ringing in the New Year with a special New Year's celebration event, which this year will commence on New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31st, at 10:00am, running through to Sunday, January 4th, 2026, at 8:00pm local time.
