Pokémon Korea has officially announced today that a Pokémon: The Orchestra performance will be coming sometime in November of this year in celebration of the Pokémon franchise’s 30th anniversary. Details regarding the program and its venue have not been announced, though Pokémon Korea has previously celebrated with Pokémon: The Orchestra for performances of music from Pokémon video games.

Pokémon announces new collab with Japan’s pro football association — Each club showing off its own Pokémon mascot

The Pokémon Company has been doing plenty of collaboration with professional sports this year, and have announced yet another partnership, this time with Japan’s top pro football association. Each of the 60 clubs in the J.League have received their very own Pokémon mascot, along with an overall “Evolution!” theme for the upcoming season. The collab is currently offering free souvenir merchandise to one million attendees of upcoming matches, plus even more merch and events to be announced.

The Pokémon Company International and LEGO are expanding their collaboration, bringing not only new Pokémon LEGO sets to customers this coming August 1st, but also setting up a Pokémon Play Zone in the LEGOLAND Florida Resort as part of their LEGO Festival. The festival runs from July 20th until August 16th, and features interactive Pokémon activities, previews of the upcoming Pokémon SMART Brick sets, and plenty of other experiences.

Pokémon Timeless Adventure merchandise line continues, with new Sinnoh-themed items arriving soon to Pokémon Center Online in Japan

The Pokémon Company is continuing their special 30th anniversary merchandise series, Timeless Adventure, now debuting a collection themed after Sinnoh after first visiting Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. The Sinnoh drop is a bit small for a Pokémon Center collection, and like some of the previous Timeless Adventure sets, will only be available via the Pokémon Center Online for customers in Japan, beginning June 4th. The Sinnoh Timeless Adventure merch has a “meeting” theme, with art depicting the Gen IV starters and Pikachu greeting each other outside the Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop. As mentioned, this collection is a little small, containing only five pieces. A file folder will retail for ¥495 ($3.11), a sticker set retails for ¥770 ($4.83 USD), an acrylic decor block retails for ¥2,860 ($17.95 USD), and an acrylic keychain will be ¥935 ($5.87 USD). The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) is partnering with two major entertainment experience companies, Moment Factory and Mitsui Fudosan, for a new Pokémon project scheduled to debut in Europe in Spring of 2027. Very little about the new project has been revealed, other than it will be an immersive Pokémon experience combining the entertainment expertise of the partnered companies. After its debut in Europe, the project is expected to tour multiple regions.

The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) has announced details for their Pokémon Night Out, which will consist of two EDM concerts with artists Marshmello and Alison Wonderland performing. FC Seoul, the professional South Korean football club, has announced a new collaboration with Pokémon Korea, Inc. for their opening home game of the season. The Pokémon Company is once again teaming up with All Nippon Airways (ANA) for new Pokémon livery on three jets, all set to begin service in 2026. ANA began their partnership with the franchise all the way back in 1998 with their Pokémon Jet, so new liveries in celebration of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary are fitting. As announced earlier this year, Pokémon Astronomical Observatory will be coming to a variety of museums and cultural centers in Japan throughout the next year. The traveling astronomy exhibit is a collaboration between The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) and The Pokémon Company, and aims to increase children’s interest in science. New details have been announced regarding the exhibit, including the traveling schedule and a collection of new merchandise to be sold at each location. As announced earlier this year, the Pokémon Fossil Museum will be making its debut in North America at The Field Museum of Natural Science in Chicago, after first exhibiting throughout Japan beginning in 2021. The exhibit includes models of Fossil Pokémon compared with real fossils, plus displays of real-life fossil preparation and excavation tools.
