Ahead of 2024's Holiday Event in Pokémon Sleep, Sleep Researchers can look forward to the latest Pokémon Growth Week commencing Monday December 9th at 4:00am local time, running through until Monday December 16th at 3:59am local time. The developers have also given players their latest list of features that are currently receiving development attention, together with a large gift bundle of handy in-game items.

Two more Pokémon will soon be sleepwalking onto your mobile devices, with Sneasel and Weavile set to make their debut in Pokémon Sleep from early December. A special Pokémon Befriending Bundle will also be made alongside this debut. Pokémon Sleep has also issued notices regarding some recent in-game bugs.

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period later this week on Tuesday October 26th for an update of the software to Version 2.2.0. This update is expected to run for roughly four and a half hours, from 4:30am until 9:00am (UTC). The update adds a new relaxing sound for Sleep Research, along with making several minor changes for general quality of life.

In celebration the Eevee Week 2024 event in Pokémon Sleep that launched in-game today, and in commemoration of the special A Sylveon Bedtime Story that was posted earlier this week by The Official Pokémon YouTube channel, a special gift of a Sylveon Incense is now being distributed to all Sleep Researchers. This gift can be redeemed by anyone who logs in to the game before November 25th, at 2:59pm (UTC) / 6:59am (PST).

Pokémon Sleep's Eevee Week 2024 event will start on November 18th. A selection of special Eevee Week 2024 Bundles will be made available from the in-game store from November 17th, at 4:00am (UTC). These bundles will remain available until one day after the end of the event, on Tuesday November 26th, at 3:59am (UTC).

Dua Lipa, the English and Albanian singer and songwriter, recently released their new album Radical Optimism. The song Illusion, which featured on that album, has been featured in a special short video in collaboration with Pokémon Sleep, which has been released via The Official Pokémon YouTube channel.

Pokémon Sleep will once again be celebrating Eevee Day on November 21st with a week-long in-game event commencing Monday November 18th at 4:00am local time, and running through to Monday November 25th at 3:59am local time. Eevee Day has been celebrated since 2018 on November 21 (11/21), which is goroawase for "i-i-bu-i", Eevee's Japanese name. The day is certified by the Japan Anniversary Association.

Pokémon Sleep's next Good Sleep Day event will run from Friday November 15th through to Sunday November 17th. Good Sleep Day events are being held in Pokémon Sleep once every lunar month, starting the day before the full moon, and ending the day after. As usual, a Good Sleep Day Bundle will be available from the in-game shop alongside this event.

A selection of special Halloween 2024 Bundles will be made available from the in-game store on that same day, at 4:00am (UTC). These bundles will remain available until one day after the end of the event, on Tuesday November 5th at 3:59am (UTC).

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period later this week on Thursday October 24th for an update of the software to Version 2.1.0. This update is expected to run for roughly four and a half hours, from 4:30am until 9:00am (UTC). In addition to preparing the game for the upcoming Halloween 2024 — Double Candy Research event (commencing the following week on October 28th), the update includes several balances changes to Pokémon's main skills.

To mark the Halloween holiday, Pokémon Sleep will be running a special Halloween 2024 — Double Candy Research event, later this month, starting the day before Halloween, on Monday October 28th at 4:00am local time, running through to Monday November 4th at 4:00am local time. Mimikyu will also make its Pokémon Sleep debut alongside this event, while Pikachu wearing a Halloween hat returns with a new purple hat variant.

Following up from yesterday's shadow drop debut of Drifloon and Drifblim in Pokémon Sleep, a special Pokémon Befriending Bundle will be made available from the in-game store on Monday October 14th, at 4:00am (UTC). These bundles will remain available until one day after the end of the current Old Gold Power Blade debut event, on Tuesday October 22nd at 3:59am (UTC).

Some people just waking up are sure to get a surprise today, with Drifloon and Drifblim suddenly appearing for Sleep Research in Pokémon Sleep. The two Pokémon have begun appearing in the game as of October 11th at 4:00am local time, including for Sleep Research that was commenced prior to that time. Drifblim appears solely at Old Gold Power Plant, while Drifloon appears at both Greengrass Isle and Old Gold Power Plant.

A selection of special Old Gold Power Plant Bundles will be made available from the in-game store on October 7th, the first day of the event, at 4:00am (UTC). These bundles will remain available until one day after the end of the event, on Tuesday October 22nd at 3:59am (UTC).

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period early next week on Tuesday October 1st for an update of the software to Version 2.0.0. This update is expected to run for roughly four and a half hours, from 4:30am until 9:00am (UTC). In addition to preparing the game for the upcoming 2-week Old Gold Power Plant Debut event (commencing the following week on October 7th), the update includes some quality of life changes, and the addition of two new Sleep Style Dex goals, the new Rousing Coffee ingredient, and six new recipes.

A selection of music from Pokémon Sleep is now available on Spotify. This contains an album of 34 songs for Trainers to enjoy, and a playlist of 20 sleep-related tunes selected from the album, including early releases of three relaxing songs that have yet to be added to Pokémon Sleep. Both the album and the playlist are free to access with a Spotify account, and each tune includes a matching visual showcasing the sleep styles of various Pokémon.

Starting on October 7th, the first Monday following the addition of the new Old Gold Power Plant area, Pokémon Sleep will be holding a two week long event to celebrate the addition of this new area, giving players who've not yet unlocked enough entries in their Sleep Style Dex a chance to catch Pokémon that would otherwise be exclusive to the new area.

As of September 23rd at 10:00pm (UTC) / 3:00pm (PDT), it is now possible for Sleep Researchers to conduct their Sleep Research using a range of smartwatch devices. Dropping at the same time were a pair of special gifts for all Sleep Researchers, along with additional bonuses for qualifying returning researchers.
