After accidentally spilling the beans with the announced PokéStop Showcases in the recent October Content Update,
Niantic has officially confirmed that the Muscular Pokémon, Timburr will be the featured Pokémon for Pokémon GO's Community Day for October 2023. During this event, Timburr will be appearing more frequently in the wild, together with its Shiny variant. The event will be held on October 15th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.
Immediately following the scheduled end of the Community Day, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm local time, unique Four-Star Raids against Conkeldurr will take place. When Trainers defeat the Conkeldurr Raid Boss, Timburr will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. Trainers can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used. Timburr appearing as a result of these raids will have the same odds of appearing as Shiny as during the main Community Day event.
The following event bonuses will also be active throughout the event:
Trainers can get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop. Additionally, though technically separate to the event (being mentioned only in the October Content Update notice), PokéStop Showcases for Timburr and Conkeldurr will also be running throughout the event period at different PokéStops.
A Community Day-exclusive Special Research story, Muscle Memories, will be available for purchase at US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This Special Research can also be gifted to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher. Community Day-themed Field Research and Timed Research will also be available. Amongst other rewards, players completing the Field Research will be able to earn additional encounters with Timburr, Stardust, and Ultra Balls. The Pokémon GO Web Store will also offer a Ultra Community Day Box at a special discount rate.
Timburr that are evolved into Conkeldurr during the Community Day event, or within five hours after it concludes while the Bonus Raid Battles are running, will learn the Charged Attack Brutal Swing. This move has 65 power in Trainer Battles, in Gyms, and in raids.

- 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
- Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Trainers can receive an in-game surprise by taking a few snapshots during Community Day
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day (active from 2pm to 10pm)
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust (active from 2:00pm to 10:00pm)
