Welcome everyone to yet another entry in our speculation contests. With the info that's been coming out, most of our for topics have been thrown out the window. ^^;; Thankfully though, we've still got a few ideas up our sleeves. For instance...we know we're starting in a new area in B2W2, a city that didn't exist in the original games. Which leaves us with the question of, how exactly are we going to progress through the games?

While we've had changes to our progression through the game before, most notably with Platinum, we've seen nothing on this scale before. And with who knows what going on with the map, it's anyone's question as to the path we're going to be trekking on our way to the Elite 4, and in our adventures beyond.

As always, you're free to make your guesses as outlandish as you like. We've made a few assumptions with how we've written this post here, but you don't have to keep to them. At the same time though, keep in mind that it's in your interests to be as precise as possible. Being vague in your answer won't win you any special points. We don't mark you down for what you get wrong, we mark you up for what you get right. Being vague just means you kill your own chances to score points there.

Remember also, while you can discuss things and make as many guesses as you like, only your final guess counts. So if you're the 10th person to suggest the same thing, but the first 9 people changed their minds, and you didn't, then if that ended up being the right answer, you'd win. If you want to make your guess count, you also need to ensure that you don't edit your post. Doing so will make us simply ignore that post when it comes to figuring out the winners at the end, since it becomes too much of a pain when we have situations where a winner depends on the posting time and who settled on the correct answer first.

This thread will be closed...well, when we feel like it really. Originally we were going to make it at the end of the week, but you know what, I think we may just keep this open right up until the we actually find out what will be in the games. So...no pressure to force yourself, but none of us know when that news will be released, so you probably shouldn't wait too long. When the information is leaked or announced, the thread will be closed immediately, and the closest guess before that happened will win.

It's our intention that this contest thread should not just be a place for everyone to post their guesses for the contest, but also a central place for you to discuss and speculate on this particular point. So don't be afraid to actually post your reasoning and logic here. There's no harm trying to convince everyone else that you're right after all, since it'd just mean that people aren't making different guesses to you, and you'd have the original guess on it anyway.

From Hiugi to Homika's City.
From Homika's City to Desert Resort.
Desert resort to Castelia to Mistralton.
Mistralton to Iccirus and back.
Mistralton to new city in mountain.
New City to route 15
Route 15 to Opelucid, in the order of Undella, Route 13 and islands, Lacunosa then Opelucid, and back to Lacunosa.
Lacunosa to League.

Homika's City to Desert resort as it would act as a route 4 for this game again, I fully believe the area south of the City would be the equivalent of route 3, with the tunnel acting as a way to get to the Desert Resort. The roadblock meeting with Achroma would be before the Castelia meeting.
Iccirus City would be covered as it has the dragonspiral tower, and it would be padding between Mistralton and new Mountain City.
Opelucid would be the 8th gym city, with Lacunosa's events before it being a precursor to the events on the new route to the league.
Nacreme to Nuvema would be post game, and a way to meet Juniper.

Starting!
From Starter town to first city(the one before the rivers)
1.From there U will probably revisit home and than go to the SouthWest coast town! Where the first gym is!
2.From there U travel to Castelia and face off Homika and TP like in the previews game! so we will try to go over SkyArrow bridge but we find out that is frozen!
3.Castelia to Nimbasa hard training through route 4!
4.Nimbasa to Driftveil! Doing something around the big new building and the 2 caves!
5.Driftveil to Mistralton challenge Skyla!
6.But this time we go to Heaven tower after the gym, so Skyla will give us a ride over central Unova, landing on the mountain in East Unova! Than going through the cave and reaching Undella town and Shizui's gym!
7.Than we head over to Lacunosa town and Village bridge and Opelucid city! But before that we have a Major plot around Giant Chiasm!
8.After Opelucid city we had home and challenge the 8th gym leader which I think Cheren or Bianca will be Depending other game!

9.Than comes the conclusion of the Big mascot Pokemon plot!
10.The Pokemon League with challenging the Champion Hilda or Hilbert!

1. Hiougi City
2. From there up through the route recently revealed on Pokemon Smash with the ledges and raised places.
3. Then to the port looking town on the coast, where Homika probably is.
4. From there, we'll probably either take the underwater tunnel or a boat to the Castelia City area.
5. After completing Castelia City and any other important things in the general area, we'll go up through the desert and desert resort.
6. Then Nimbasa
7. Driftveil
8. Mistralton
9. Go across the region to the east side
10. Go to Shizui's town
11. Big story events
12. Travel around that east coast area
13. Go to Opelucid City
14. Final Gym battle
15. To Pokemon League and climax stuff.

1. Travel from Hiougi city to the second and third towns, take on Homika in the third town.
2. Take the underwater tunnel to Castelia City, meet Akuroma there (it's where he introduces himself).
3. Begin to travel up route 4, but find it blocked off by the Crustle.
4. Travel across Sky Arrow Bridge to Nacrene City, take on Lenora.
5. Travel to Striaton City, Accumula Town, and Nuvema Town to speak with Prof. Juniper and receive something to make the Crustle move out of the way.
6. Head back to Castelia and take on Burgh.
7. Travel back to route 4 and onward to Nimbasa City, take on Elesa.
8. Travel to Driftveil City, take on Clay, then explore the new caves around town.
9. Head through Charge Stone Cave and arrive in Mistralton City to take on Skyla.
10. Go to Icirrus City, have some plot with the Dragon Spiral Tower, but no gym battle.
11. Travel to Opelucid City, take on Drayden/Iris, discover that it is no longer possible to reach the League from there.
12. Travel to Lacunosa Town, have plot with the Chasm.
13. Head to the northern of the two new islands off the coast, have gym battle with Shizui and earn eighth badge.
14. Make your way to the League and win!
15. The rest of Eastern Unova is post-game, finishing with a trip to the airport and flying to a small, yet-to-be-revealed section of the region, similar to the Sevii Islands.

Also, I think there will be some backtracking at points due to the plot, similar to how we had to go back to the Desert Resort and Nacrene City in BW, but since I don't know what the plot will be, I haven't included these interruptions to the basic progression through the cities for the badge quest.

01) Travel from Hiougi City to the 2nd Town/City, then back to Hiougi and all the way to the Port Town. You'll revisit Hiougi City later on in your quest to challenge the Gym Leader of the City which resides in the Pokemon Academy, which also will act as its own Gym. You'll challenge Homika either in the 2nd Town or in the Port Town.
02) From the Port Town to Castelia (through the underwater tunnel or boat).
03) Castelia City to Nimbasa (through Desert Resort, where you'll meet Akuroma).
04) Nimbasa to Driftveil to Mistralton through the BW routes. You'll pay a short visit to the area below Driftveil.
05) Mistralton to Iccirus through Chargestone Cave.
06) Iccirus City to Opelucid through the BW route.
07) Route 10 will no longer connect with Victory Road, making it impossible to reach the League from there.
08) Back to Mistralton; leave for the airport on the eastern Unova mountains (through airplane).
09) From there to Undella and to the new eastern islands. Challenge Shizui there.
10) From Undella to Lacusona through the BW route.
11) Lacusona to Great Chasm, which will connect to the new lakes west of the Chasm.
12) From there to the remains of Victory Road and the Pokemon League.

Nacrene to Nuvema will either take place late-game or post-game, where you'll meet Juniper and Bianca. Cheren will be an Elite Four member you challenge. There'll be a series of post-game islands not included on this page of the Unova map where you'll encounter other Pokemon and a post-game boss like Red, Steven, and Cynthia. Travel there through airplane.

You will begin in the south west. Right below Twist mountain then go north then go counter clockwise around the entralink to the league. Taking a detour to Castilia

You start in Hiougi City.
From there you go through the new first route to the new second city.
From the new second city, you go to the new second route.
Once in the new second route, you will explore the area around the new second route (as part of the story line).
From the new second route, you head into the new third city (the port city).
From the port city, you take a boat to Castelia City.
From Castelia City, you head through the new Route 4 (new here meaning 'has a lot of buildings').
From Route 4, you head into Nimbasa City.
From Nimbasa, it's about the same play through as in BW up until Opelucid City (but with a few new side quests as part of the new story line):
Nimbasa City - Route 5 - Driftveil Drawbridge - Driftveil City - Route 6 - Chargestone Cave - Mistralton City - Route 7 - Twist Mountain - Icirrus City - Route 8 - Tubeline Bridge - Route 9 - Opelucid City
After Opelucid City, you head towards Giant Chasm (as part of the story line):
Route 11 - Village Bridge - Route 12 - Lacunosa Town - Route 13 to Giant Chasm
After a big event at Giant Chasm, you head to the Pokemon League.
At the Pokemon League, you defeat the villain and complete the main story line.
After the main story line, you are free to explore the rest of Unova (and challenge the battle frontier (if there is one)).

And from here, we have two options.

a. East to Nacrene City
b. North to Nimbasa City

Nacrene City will obviously be under the effect of whatever the ice on the map is covering up. During various points, there may be some sort of block that the player cannot get around until later. For example, one may not be able to go from Nimbasa to Driftviel until something is done in another town/city.

You start the game in Hiougi city; from there, it is:

Hiougi city -> Normal gym city -> The portuary city in the southwest -> Castelia city -> Nimbasa City -> Driftveil city -> Mistralton City -> Take a plane to the mountains to the east, then back to Mistralton -> Frozen Icirrus City -> Opelucid city -> Village bridge -> Lacunosa Town -> Giant Chasm -> Back to Opelucid city and then, to the Pokémon League.

Then, after the main quest, the new paths that open are: Black City/White Forest (Or their new counterparts) and Skyarrow Bridge.

Gotta revise a bit here

1. Receive first Pokemon in Hiougi, then take on Cheren at the Trainers' School/Gym.
2. Travel from Hiougi city to the second and third towns, take on Homika in the third town.
3. Take the underwater tunnel to Castelia City, meet Akuroma there (it's where he introduces himself).

6. Travel to Striaton City, Accumula Town, and Nuvema Town to speak with Prof. Juniper and receive something to make the Crustle move out of the way.

What is interesting is that Bulbanews says that Cheren is the first Gym Leader, and considering the geographical position of the new areas I think that the order must be something like this:

Aspertia
Homika's City (but she isn't there, instead she's off in PokeWood where the player has to go)
PokeWood (the player finds Homika in her quest to be a movie star. Her and Brycen's fathers have their confrontation and she decides to stay there)
Castelia (There's no gym anymore)
Nacrene
Nuvema where Shiuzi is
Castelia (some confrontation with Akuroma)
Homika's City to battle her (bulbagarden did say it was second)
Nimbasa with a Plasma confrontation with the rival. Challenges Elesa's successor (the one on the animated trailer that looked like Elesa but younger)
Driftveil to challenge Clay
Milstraton to Challenge Skyla
Then we have the Kyurem plot, Dragonspiral Tower, Shadow Triad (Who aren't Striaton Triplets) The Ice Cap expands to Opelucid as the player gets there.
Eventually Opelucid Gym Challenge once the Dragon is defeated/Captured.
Victory Road
Post Game shizzle

Castelia to Mistralton.
Mistralton to Mountain airbase.
Mountain Airbase to Undella.
Undella to new region and back.
Undella to Iccirus.
Iccirus. to Lacunosa to League.
Travel the new region to find N.

I think it's likely that the fifth ship on the docks at Castlellia City; the ship on the first dock, that never goes anywhere and is inaccessible to the player, will now be available to travel on, possibly docking at Nuvema Town or that small exposed island near it, which could either be part of the islands on Routes 17-18 or somewhere new to explore.
