Pokémon GO: Hidden Gems
Niantic has released details on Pokémon GO's newest season: Hidden Gems. This new season will run from today until September 1st, at 10:00am local time. Alongside this announcement, Niantic have also released details on a number of activities, bonuses, and events that will be running in-game in the month of June in conjunction with this new season.

Season 11: Hidden Gems

Pokémon GO debuts
Throughout the course of this Season, a number of Pokémon will be making their Pokémon GO debuts, including Sandygast and Palossand (which will debut in the Water Festival: Beach Week event), and Carbink.

Shadow Raids
More Shadow Pokémon will be appearing in Shadow Raids, starting on June 5th, at 10:00am local time. One-Star and Three-Star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while Five-Star Shadow Raids will be available exclusively on weekends. From June 10th, Shadow Articuno will be available to battle in Five-Star Shadow Raids. Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Articuno for the first time in Pokémon GO.

Seasonal bonuses
The following bonuses are active throughout Season 11: Hidden Gems:
  • One additional Special Trade per day.
  • One additional Pokémon Candy when trading Pokémon.
  • Trainers level 31 and above will receive one guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon.
Research Breakthrough encounters
After completing seven days of Field Research tasks, Trainers will encounter one of the following Pokémon:

  • Audino ⁂
  • Furfrou ⁂
  • Goomy
  • Noibat ⁂

A different Pokémon and special bonus will be featured every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:
  • June 6th: Krabby ⁂ / Kabuto ⁂ / Corphish ⁂ / Clauncher ⁂ / Crabrawler | 3× XP for catching Pokémon
  • June 13th: Binacle ⁂ | 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
  • June 20th: Sunkern ⁂ | 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon
