Armarouge and Ceruledge will be appearing in Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet this coming weekend, from February 3rd to 5th

Armarouge and Ceruledge will be appearing in 4-star and 5-star Tera Raid Battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet between February 3rd at 00:00 (UTC), and February 5th at 23:59 (UTC). Armarouge will appear exclusively for players with Pokémon Scarlet, while Ceruledge will be appearing exclusively in Pokémon Violet. These Pokémon will be available in a wide array of Tera Types, including rare Tera Types for these species.

To encounter Armarouge or Ceruledge in Tera Raid Battles, players will need to download the latest Poké Portal News. If players have connected their Nintendo Switch system to the internet while playing Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, this will happen automatically. Players can also manually download the Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, and then selecting Mystery Gift, and then Check Poké Portal News. After that, players will be able to start a Tera Raid Battle simply by walking up to and interacting with an appropriate Tera Crystal in-game. In the overworld, the Tera Crystals associated with these raids can be differentiated from other Tera Raid crystals by their aura, which is mostly clearly visible when looking at crystals on the map.

A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online.
