Oh, I see. After seeing the previews, XY060 seemed like a fluke.

I mean that the episodes AFTER XY060 seems very boring so far aside from the evolutions that are happening from what has been revealed and since they haven't aired yet I am going to skip them when they air.

Shame, I thought it would keep up the momentum, but I'll watch them anyway.

I was actually surprised at how good it was. The series might be picking up now.

I didn't think it was as good as XY019, the multiple Malamar didn't sit well with me, and as for James, the scene might be better with subs but they should have built it up earlier. Did you watch it subbed or raw?

I'll say one thing: XY053 was better than BW053 (one of my least favorite BW episodes before BW142). BW054 wasn't that great either, BW055 was eh, as was XY055. I actually didn't think BW050 was that bad, only that they exaggerated Ash's idiocy a little.

I really do have high expectations, BW set the bar too high. XY have a few episodes that beat certain BW episodes like I said but then you have OVER FIFTY BW episodes that are better. BW picks up again after that string of fillers you mentioned.

I can appreciate something that isn't BW, but not when they put out ****.

True I do get what you mean tho, it gets real annoying when Pikachu steals everyone's wins. This is one reason why I liked the Coumarine gym battle other than my beloved Weepinbell being a total boss is that Pikachu wasn't in it which made the battle more enjoyable. Plus the cliché trope in XY of the leaders ace defeating every other Pokémon was also not present which was nice to see.

Frogadier also got its shining moment here after being shafted for the first three gyms.

He's already been in those gyms for the region. I wouldn't have minded so much if he didn't steal wins he didn't need from others who did.

Wow even in gyms where he has the type advantage?

I would rather Pikachu not get used in any gym but that's never gonna happen so the less he is used the better.
