I subscribe to this.
The idea of Kanto and Alola again didn't sound all that appeasing and neither did there only being two fighter left for Super Smash Brothers ultimate's base roster yet they happened.
It's best to expect the unexpected
It would be pretty cruel to just get titles after announcing these games almost 2 years ago.
I think a proper Gameplay trailer is needed to ease some tensions that have been building since last year
The speculation cycle usually ends up being more interesting than the games themselves tbh.
I just wanna see what Nintendo will do to flex on the fanbase this time.
I remember a lot of people crying foul because there was no snow man or dolphin Pokemon in Sun and Moon and use that as an example to show that the Chinese Riddler wasn't accurate or something.
Indeed it is a theoretical example but stuff like that can happen not always but it can.
At least from what I've seen typically these things travel from country to country but usually originated somewhere in Asia so it's not always easy. So what starts as "hey there's this new Pokemon based off of a yeti crab" becomes " there's a new Pokemon based off of a Snowman" once it's all...
Speaking of telephone, I recall when someone on Gaf was bought attention to Lavandula on Smogon talking about the og SM leaks which then make there way over here and eventually lead to this place being hot for awhile.
2016 was epic man
Playing telephone is a hard job because stuff gets lost eventually.
Though now the idea of Joe-Some on random fourm.com knowing something has increased by ten fold in recent years
Right now Nintendo is on a LGPE high BABY and it feels nice.
With that said, it might take a bit until we fully see Gen 8 until around Pokemon day and the hype has never been realer
Can't wait for the same song and dance.
> Mewtwo trailer is hyped up as a nostalgic return to form
> Oh wait it isn't
> New mon steals the show for marketing
