Mafia Build-It: Video Game Edition [ENDGAME]

Because I have not placed my vote yet I don’t think.

We assumed Pokémon center is doc. There is no evidence that is a doc. And even if it is, mafia can still have it. Mafia can get the same blueprints town can get. The blueprints are NAI. The blueprints are NAI.

Unless Calvin didn’t give me access to the mafia chat, I’m not mafia. So there’s only one person it can be logically. That or were being played by Caps. But again there’s no reason not to go for the easy Divergent mislynch. Or even block someone with jail or and holster to frame them.

Some blueprint-related thoughts:

The idea of the Pokemon Center inflicting status seems interesting, but I believe the other revealed blueprints have been fairly consistent to what they do in their lore (correct me if I'm wrong on this), so it seems unlikely Pokemon Center would be different.

Other than that, I agree with Jamie's statement where he said that if he did have such abilities, why would he wait this long to perform those actions?

Anyways, one of my reservations with voting for Mido was that the silencing was indeed real. But I was thinking on it more and a possible explanation for it was that it's a passive related to the Silent Hill role - said passive would only allow for the building to be destroyed during the start of a phase with an accompanying negative consequence (in this case, destroying it during the day would silence the holder).

Moving from that, I think the burning is consistent with the description of the Nether in Minecraft, which is a hell-like dimension with fire and lava. And the usage tracks in that it was only used last night.

I was also rereading the thread and overall, Jamie's gameplay has been very towny. There's a genuine effort to solve the game. There's also a willingness to keep reevaluating reads and I didn't get the vibe that it was busywork that would come from mafia.

So, I feel like I've mostly made my decision to vote for Mido for this phase, but would need to hear from Caps since we would need to be on the same page; otherwise, we'd end with a tie, resulting in a no elim.

I want proof I’m mafia. Not gut feelings and crackpot theories that don’t make sense. Give a case so I have some real stuff to defend against. I’m waiting.

I could also check someone tonight with my role or destroy my current blueprint and build the one I got today to see what it does.

That’s different than people saying I faked being silenced or silenced myself.

Your posts at that time coincided way too coincidentally with the silence. If you had made posts before or after my silence like you did then I would never have thought you were the culprit. I suspected Ex for the same reasons hence the fruitless poison attempt.

Yeah, I agree with this. I still have yet to receive an answer though on what the burning does. I'm following up on it though, so I hope I get some kind of answer to that soon.

Why did you think there were 2 mafia left here? We already had 2 mafia eliminated, so it was unlikely there would still be 2 more.

What's the blueprint that you got and what game is it from?

Why did this suspicion on ExLight never came up until now? Reread everything and most of the content about suspecting the silence was directed at Caps.

Also, @TheCapsFan what does your second ability do? Maybe it could be useful for moving forward with the game.

Because I frankly haven’t been that active and he was lower priority at the time. I generally don’t go listing my suspects unless I’m working on a case for them. Plus the less those know that I suspect them, the less likely they are to be weary of me.

Between three mafias and real life, I frankly didn’t pay much attention early game. And while I’m more aware now, frustratingly I work so much I don’t have time to go deeper into the mafia.

I mean, the question here was, were you also attempting to poison ExLight on the even night (but that it failed since it's not allowed by your role)? Or were you attempting to poison someone else then, like Caps?

My bad on the blueprint one, I read that as Overwatch the first time you mentioned it and thought you were just saying the game it's from.

I went for Ex too. And when I saw Calvin point out it was the wrong night I tried to use my other ability but was too late.

I knew Ex would be harder to lynch than Caps so out of suspicions he was definitely the more high priority target for my poisoning.

What actions or behavior did the other person do / have in the previous phases that you would say was scummy?

This one's for Mido. If Jamie is the final mafia, that would mean he silenced you. What would you say is the reason behind targetting you for it? At the time, he was townreading you and didn't seem to be casting suspicion on you for the silenced status.

Will take a bit on the first one. Can’t easily pull evidence right now.

As for the silence thing, I just don’t know. It made no sense to me either period. The only thing I had really done at that point that stands out is suggest that silent hill could be a town member that doesn’t trust Lissi.

If we want to be farfetch’d it could be Jamie worried about how me doing so gave the idea that we can’t assume alignment by role. Doesn’t seem dangerous except for the fact he has been obsessively, this phase especially, pushing the idea that Pokémon Center is a town clear. If this ridiculous reasoning is the truth then I am a freaking Goddess
