Three new Pokémon-themed jets to debut in 2026, flying Japanese domestic and international routes

The Pokémon Company is once again teaming up with All Nippon Airways (ANA) for new Pokémon livery on three jets, all set to begin service in 2026. ANA began their partnership with the franchise all the way back in 1998 with their Pokémon Jet, so new liveries in celebration of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary are fitting. The actual livery designs are to be revealed in May 2026, and the jets are expected to begin service sequentially throughout the year.

The new jets are part of Pokémon Air Adventures (Flying Pikachu Project in Japan), The Pokémon Company’s initiative for air travel theming, which includes several airlines across multiple countries. These three new jets from ANA will have interconnected designs, each being themed after Pokémon Red, Green, or Blue Versions. The designs celebrate not only Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, but also the 40th anniversary of ANA’s first international flight.

Many of our passengers flying with us today were the kids who marveled at our first Pokémon Jet in 1998.

The Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Red jets are scheduled to fly domestic routes within Japan. However, the Pokémon Green-themed jet will fly international routes, which are yet to be announced. This is the first time an ANA Pokémon jet (not a Pikachu- or Eevee-specific jet) has flown internationally in 10 years.
