Pokémon Masters Day is here again in Pokémon Masters EX. Accompanying the usual collection of regular events and presents on offer is a Triple Feature Master Fair Scout, plus multiple One-Time-Only Scouts featuring Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs. Two Sync Pairs are also receiving Sync Grid upgrades alongside this monthly event.

Pokémon Masters Day first ran back in November 2021, and currently runs every month in Pokémon Masters EX from the 24th at 10:00pm (PST), through to the 25th at 9:59pm (PST). The format of the monthly event was last updated in September 2025. To claim presents, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.

Pika-Presents Log-In Bonus

All players who log in today will receive a special present of 500 gems from Pikachu.

Pika-Presents for Everyone
The usual Pika-Presents for Everyone battle returns for Pokémon Masters Day, featuring one-time rewards of Gems, ★5 Power-Ups, Strike Move Candy Coins, 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets, and other assorted items.

Special Pika-Challenge
Players can also take on the co-op battle Special Pika-Challenge to collect Pikachu Stickers to exchange for valuable rewards in the exchange menu, which this month includes 5★ Rosa & Snivy and the Clothing Color: Cool to change the player character's look.

Additionally, players can also trade for an unlimited amount of Type Gear each month at 10 Pikachu Stickers each, with the exact types of gear changing from month to month. This month, players can acquire Bandannas, Bracelets, and Pins for the Rock, Ghost, and Dragon Types.

Players should also note the following for these Pokémon Masters Day battles:
  • To participate in Pika-Presents for Everyone! event battles, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • To unlock the Special Pika-Challenge! Co-op battles, players must have completed Main Story Interlude 1: Let the Tournament Begin! in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • Leftover Pikachu Stickers at the end of this event will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per voucher and sent to players' Present Boxes.
  • If players already own Clothing Color: Cool, this will be exchanged for a 3★ Power-Up Instead.
Master Fair Scouts
A set of Master Fair Scouts have gone live with today's celebrations, offering opportunities to scout the following three Master Sync Pairs.
As usual for Master Fair scouts, 5★ Sync Pairs will have a 12% chance of appearing, with the featured pairs having a higher chance of appearing than other pairs. Master Fair-exclusive Sync Pairs may reappear in future Master Fair Scouts.

This Triple Feature Master Fair Scout, which will run through to February 24th at 9:59pm (PST), includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout. The first twelve times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for this scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:
  • Odd Numbered Scouts: 5★ Great Scout Ticket Q ×1
  • Even Numbered Scouts: Move Candy Coin ×2
The 5★ Great Scout Ticket Q can be used in the associated Master Fair Featured Ticket Scout, which gives players a guaranteed 5★ Sync Pair, with a 25% chance of that pair being either Nate (Champion) & Haxorus, Serena (Champion) & Greninja, or Archie & Kyogre (with each of these pairs individually having a roughly 8.33% chance of being scouted). The Master Fair Featured Ticket Scout will be available until March 3rd, at 9:59pm (PST), and all Great Scout Ticket Q must be redeemed before this time.

One-Time-Only Scouts for Pokémon Masters Day
Three special discounted Pokémon Masters Day scouts are available, representing a great chance to obtain some extra sync pairs. These scouts can only be used once each, and will only remain available until the end of this month's Pokémon Masters Day.

The Pokémon Masters Day One-Time-Only Happy Scout ×11 is available for only 25 Gems, functioning as a standard ×11 scout with no special bonuses to sync pair availability.

Additionally, the Pokémon Masters Day One-Time-Only 5★-Guaranteed Scout A ×11 is available for 250 Paid Gems, and the Pokémon Masters Day One-Time-Only 5★-Guaranteed Scout B ×11 can be had for 2,500 paid gems. Both of these grant the player a regular ×11 scout along with a bonus 5★-guaranteed sync pair from lists which include a range of Fair-Exclusive, Variety, Seasonal, and Costume Sync Pairs.

Sync Pair Upgrades

Darach & Staraptor and Serena (Champion) & Greninja are both receiving new sync grid tiles alongside this month's Pokémon Masters Day. These tiles are unlocked when their move levels are increased to 2 or 3.

Masters Day Gem Specials
In conjunction with this month's Pokémon Masters Day, the following three Event Gem Specials will be available in the "Purchase Gems" tab of the in-game shop until January 25th at 9:59pm (PST), offering discounted prices on Paid Gems.
  • Masters Day gem special 1: Gems ×1,000
