The key visual for the next arc features Crocalor, Shiny Mega Lucario, Roy, Captain Pikachu, Quaxwell, Dot, Meowscarada, Liko, on a plain with the Brave Olivine, Kilowattrel and Hattrem in the sky behind them, and a new character Ult, and his Mega Sableve jumping into the air, and Terapagos asleep inside its Pokéball in the corner.
The Pokémon Company International has announced that the third season of the latest Pokémon animated series, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, will premiere January 6th, 2026, in the US and other territories exclusively on Netflix. Titled “Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope”, the third season will follow protagonists Liko and Roy a year after the events of the previous season, as they set off on more adventures across different regions with their teammate Dot and new companion Ult, chasing after the mysterious pink mist and rebuilding the Rising Volt Trackers.

Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope Synopsis said:
It’s been one year since the events in Laqua left the Rising Volt Tacklers without a leader and a way forward, but a mysterious pink mist that harms Pokémon spurs Liko and Roy into action! Both Trainers have gained confidence and strength alongside their Pokémon, including Roy’s newest friend, a yellow Lucario capable of Mega Evolution. They’re joined by Dot, an intel-gathering expert, and Ult, a brash young Trainer who considers Roy his rival. Determined to rebuild the Rising Volt Tacklers and fulfill a promise made in Laqua, Liko, Roy, and friends are training harder than ever as they take on the Explorers and forge a new path!

Fans in the U.K. will be the first to enjoy the new season, as it will be debuting on BBC iPlayer on October 27th, 2025. Fans in Latin America can enjoy the series exclusively through Netflix alongside the US on January 6th, 2026. While these territories do not have an exact release date announced yet, fans in Canada can enjoy the series on Cartoon Network and Télétoon; fans in Australia on 9Go! and Stan; and fans in France on Gulli and Canal J. The series is also expected to be available in Asia soon after via the Pokémon Asia ENG YouTube channel and other regional YouTube channels.

Guess they're going for the translation of the next arc in Blueberry Academy (for the best, given the discourse around Mega Voltage); and even as someone who isn't a fan of Ult, the brief clip of his EN voice fits all right. All the same, going to wait for the whole season to be available and won't be surprised if we get a new anime for Generation X without the HZ cast.
