New Puma x Pokémon sneaker and apparel collection launching April 1st

Athletic apparel and footwear brand Puma is announcing yet another 30th anniversary collab with Pokémon, after recently announcing their latest Pikachu sneaker. This new drop is more extensive, launching four new sneakers themed after different Pokémon, plus some new apparel to go with them. The collection will drop at Puma’s website serving the US at 9 PM PST on April 1st.

Four Pokémon will feature on four models of sneaker, with Mimikyu featuring on the Inverse, Espeon on the Mostro, and Umbreon and Pikachu both featuring on the Fade (in addition to Pikachu featuring on the previously announced All-Pro Nitro 2.) Each sneaker comes in a colorway reflective of its Pokémon and comes with the Pokémon’s portrait as a charm attached to the laces.

For apparel, the collection is offering seven pieces, mostly in Gen I theming, including a Mewtwo basketball jersey and a full Espeon track suit. The firework-print shorts, which are pictured in promo images and match the Mewtwo jersey, are not currently listed for sale on Puma’s website. Specific sizes are not yet available, but will be in mens’ (unisex) sizing, and Puma typically offers XS to 3X or 4X.

Puma’s website serving the UK is not offering this new drop of sneakers and apparel, though they are offering the previously announced Pikachu All-Pro Nitro 2 and two "confidential" pieces, also dropping April 1st. No pictures are available yet, but Puma UK will be offering the Pikachu Fade model in Youth and Kids sizes, for £80.00 GBP and £70.00 GBP, respectively. These sizes are apparently only scheduled to be available in the UK. A slightly wider variety of items is scheduled to be available via Puma Japan, including bags, an Umbreon tracksuit, and more, though there are no prices or other details available for these items.
