Hi guys! I hope you are doing fine. Now that we have enough information of the new anime ("Liko & Roy" series, "No Ash" series or whatever you want to call it) to premiere soon it's time to put up my predictions of what the first episodes and plots of the series could be.

For now I'm using "NS" (from "New series") as the preffix though I'll probably use Bulbapedia's when they settle on one.

-NS001: The start of a new era! We are Liko and Roy!

-NS004: Kanto Safari Zone! Educative Experience!
-NS005: The dark starry sky of Alola! (If they are going to keep the world tour they better focus on the underused regions, and Minior is one of the most iconic things about Alola)
-NS006: Iron Island! Special Hard Steel training!
-NS007: Dudunsparce, the rarest Pokemon of all!
-NS008: Nemona, Pawmi and the secret of Teracrystalization! (Liko development)
-NS009: Legendary battle! Fuecoco VS Kubfu! (Roy development)
-NS010: Snorlax and the way of sleep! (I doubt they will promote Sleep but you never know)
-NS011: The ship in crisis! Captain Pikachu's pride!

I usually end up my predictions in something cool, but we still don't know much of the plot or if there's some kind of Team Rocket replacement. For now this should be everything, I hope you liked it!

This series is shaping up very hard to predict because of its arc structure and numerous surprises, but thankfully the latest episode gave us lots of stuff to work with, so let's go with another prediction. Another thing to take into account is that titles are simpler now yet more abstract, I gotta say I'll miss the old ones, but whatever.

-HZ001: The start of a new era! We are Liko and Roy!
ERE: HZ001 The Pendant of Beginning, Part 1 & HZ004 A Washed-Ashore Treasure
Liko & Rod were introduced separately, and Liko is indisputably the protagonist over him. Though I did not nail the details, the first episode did have the word "beginning" on it.
-HZ002: Enter Captain Pikachu and Friede!
ERE: HZ 002 The Pendant of Beginning, Part 2 & HZ 007 Special Training! Captain Pikachu
Friede & Cap did have a big role in episode 2 so I'm going to count it, and also had a focus episode 5 episodes later.
-HZ003: Quaxly has style!

Quaxly had focus a bit later than expected, though most of the focus was on the mysterious Dot.
-HZ004: Kanto Safari Zone! Educative Experience!

Episode 4 did focused on the Kanto wilderness and had a scene about Roy receiving education, so I'll count it. It wasn't a filler though, I admit the series was much more plot-focused than I thought it would.
-HZ005: The dark starry sky of Alola! (If they are going to keep the world tour they better focus on the underused regions, and Minior is one of the most iconic things about Alola)

No Alola visit so far, and I also was (thankfully) wrong in thinking that this series was going to be similar to Journeys in that they would do extreme region-hopping from one episode to the next.

Training in the title, only one episode later? And in a ship made out of STEEL? Yeah, I'll count it.

The dude has only appeared as Larry's ace and it wasn't until the next season. Some of the "silly" Paldean Pokemon have received dedicated fillers though, like Palafin and Kingambit.

ERE: HZ010 With Nemona and Brassius
Big win here. Nemona does appear 2 episodes later and she indeeds introduces Terastal to the heroes with Pawmo. Her rival is Roy though.
-HZ009: Legendary battle! Fuecoco VS Kubfu! (Roy development)
ERE: None
Roy's goal of "battling legendaries" was either a mistranslation or poor wording from official press releases, and Kubfu still has not appeared. Fuecoco did have some battles around this time, VS Nemona 1 episode later and VS Arboliva 2 episodes later.
-HZ010: Snorlax and the way of sleep! (I doubt they will promote Sleep but you never know)

No Snorlax filler so far, surprisingly.

My idea was that Cap would command the ship through a storm or something. I'm going to count his closest focus episodes as well as episode 17 which has a storm and some Cap focus.

Iono appeared in a special preview so I take no credit there. She did not battle Dot until much later but did a special collab with her.

The battle with Spinel only lasted one episode and didn't focus much on Terastal. Part 2 had a cheesy title about having trust in yourself and all that though.

Yes! Murdock focus nailed only two episodes later, and he indeed acted prideful in that episode.
-HZ018: Roy, captain for a day

Roy indeed had a focus episode while travelling to Galar one episode earlier!
-HZ019: Let's explore the abandoned ship

No sunken ship or underwater fillers so far.

Another jackpot. I knew that after the china pieces were not granted focus in Journeys they couldn't resist doing it here, it happened 10 episodes later.
-HZ021: Amethio's Gym Battle (Gigantamax Corviknight appears?)
ERE: HZ 022 Kabu's Battle Training & HZ 034 Respective Departures
Finally some justice was made to the Galar gyms with one appearing one episode earlier and being unofficially challenged by the protagonists. As for Amethio he did have a big development battle 13 episodes later though it did not involve Corviknight.

ERE: HZ 024 Reunion at the Old Castle
It was said explicitly the RVT would go there but it's still nice to get the title and the episode number more or less right.
-HZ023: Grandmother and Grandaughter

There were many moments on those episodes about Liko and Diana's relationship but nothing too deep.

Titan #2 was Galarian Moltres. But you know who gallops in the Wild Area? Galarian Zapdos, who is G-Moltres' brother! Also the number was really close.

The midseason climax was the Elite Four battles and the season climax was a series of battles between the students. But since I did not specified I don't take much points from those.
-HZ058: Let's go to Area Zero! (What a twist! It may be too early but...will there be a better time to cover it than when they're on Paldea?)
ERE: HZ 080 Totally Awesome Pokémon in Area Zero?!
Interestingly we finish this with the latest episode aired in Japan, we did have to weird an arc and a half (22 episodes total) but it was obvious it was going to happen eventually.

-HZ097: Slurpuff! Battle at the Five star restaurant! (Murdock rejoins the group)
-HZ098: Fly again! Brave Olivine! (Orla and Ludlow rejoin the group)

-HZ100: VS Spinel! Battle at Full Power! (I don't think they'll win in the first try but it will be well-animated. Dub batch finale.)
