Mega Shine Themed Booster Pack announced for Pokémon TCG Pocket, set to launch mid-next week

A new trailer has provided players with their first look at Pokémon TCG Pocket's next Themed Booster Pack, Mega Shine, which is set to launch worldwide next week on Wednesday, March 25th / Thursday, February 26th. Accompanying website updates have also detailed a selection of events coming to the game throughout the next month.

Please note that while the UK edition trailer states the new Themed Booster Pack would be available on Thursday, February 26th at 12:00am (GMT), this is one hour before the time specified in the US trailer and on the official website, which is at Wednesday, March 25th 6:00pm (PDT) / Thursday, February 26th at 1:00am (UTC). This later time is most likely the correct global release time for the set.

Similar to the Shining Revelry Themed Booster Pack released in March last year, Mega Shine can be thought of as Pocket's equivalent to sets from the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game like Paldean Fates, with special variant cards featuring Shiny Pokémon for a variety of fan fave Pokémon species. This set specifically features the Pokémon TCG Pocket debuts of a variety of Shiny Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.

Mega Shine Emblem Event
In this event held from late March to early April, players compete in battles against other players to earn Emblems that can be displayed on their profile.

Bonus Week Missions
In this event in early April, players can tackle special missions to obtain a variety of items such as hourglasses and more.

Slowpoke Drop Event
In this event in early-to-mid April, players can take on special solo battles to obtain a variety of new promo cards from Promo Pack B Series Vol. 6, including a full-art Slowpoke.

Wonder Pick Event
In this event running in mid-to-late April, players will be able to obtain new promo cards such as Gastly and Wigglytuff. A variety of in-game items will be obtainable using shop tickets acquired by completing missions, including a binder cover and display board themed around Mega Kangaskhan.
