Get ready for the next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition - Kitakami Prologue competition to run from October 6th through 8th

The next Online Competition for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet has been announced. Registration for the Kitakami Prologue will open on October 2nd, at Midnight (UTC), with the competition itself scheduled to run from October 6th, at Midnight (UTC), running through ton October 8th, at 11:59pm (UTC).

The competition will consist of Double Battles using Pokémon from the Kitakami Pokédex. As of writing, no further details about the rules have yet been announced, though other than eligibility requirements it's likely these will be run in a similar fashion to past competitions, with Trainers competing in 4v4 Double Battles with teams of between 4 and 6 Pokémon.

Entries will be limited to one per user per game version per Nintendo Switch console.
