Dance with Oricorio this Saturday February 7th in the Oricorio Catch Mastery event

Pokémon GO's latest Catch Mastery event, featuring encounters with the Dancing Pokémon Oricorio, will be running this coming weekend on Saturday, February 7th between 10:00am and 8:00pm local time.

Oricorio will appear in Field Research, free Timed Research, and paid Timed Research as part of this event, with different forms appearing in different parts of the world:

• Baile Style Oricorio: Appearing in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
• Pom-Pom Style Oricorio: Appearing in the Americas
• Pa'u Style Oricorio: Appearing on African, Asian, Pacific and Caribbean islands
• Sensu Style Oricorio: Appearing in the Asia-Pacific region

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonus will be active throughout the event period:

• 2× XP for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better
• Increased Candy for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Oricorio
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Hoothoot and Starly

Free and Paid Timed Research
Timed Research focused on catching Oricorio will be available throughout the event. Amongst other rewards, Trainers completing this Timed Research will encounter Oricorio, and receive XP and Stardust.

Trainers will also be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Amongst other rewards, Trainers completing this Timed Research will earn additional encounters with Oricorio, XP, and Stardust.

The tasks associated with these Timed Research opportunities must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before February 7th, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Oricorio Catch Mastery Ultra Ticket Box
An Oricorio Catch Mastery Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). The box includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, along with a two bonus Rare Candies.
