Make sure you don't miss any of these events coming to Pokémon GO in October

A few days ago, Niantic announced details on upcoming events and activities in Pokémon GO across October, with an infographic posted to their social media accounts. The infographic includes a variety of events between now and the beginning of November, including several events which have not yet been fully announced.

October's Featured Pokémon, Encounters, and Raids
All Pokémon listed below with a ⁂ next to their name can also be encountered in their Shiny variants.

Pokémon Spotlight Hour
A different Pokémon and special bonus will be featured every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:

• October 3rd: Slowpoke ⁂ | 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon
• October 10th: Shroomish ⁂ | 2× XP for evolving Pokémon
• October 17th: Pumpkaboo ⁂ | 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon
• October 24th: Phantump | 2× XP for catching Pokémon
• October 31st Yamask ⁂ | 2× Candy for catching Pokémon

PokéStop Showcase
Different Pokémon will feature in PokéStop Showcases throughout the month. Unless otherwise noted, single day PokéStop Showcases will run from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time, while multi-day PokéStop Showcases will start at 10:00am local time and finish at 8:00pm local time.

• September 30th to October 2nd: Growlithe and Hisuian Growlithe
• October 5th to 9th: TBA
• October 12th to 13th: TBA
• October 15th: Timburr and Conkeldurr
• October 16th to 17th: Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist
• October 20th to 22nd: Shuppet and Banette
• October 23rd to 25th : TBA
• October 26th to 28th: Phantump
• October 29th to October 31st: Gastly and Gengar

Raid rotations all start and end at 10:00am local time on the dates listed unless otherwise noted.

Raid Hour
The following Pokémon will be featured in a Raid Hour event on every Wednesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm local time:

• October 4th: Raikou ⁂ / Entei ⁂ / Suicune ⁂
• October 11th: Guzzlord ⁂
• October 18th Guzzlord ⁂
• October 25th: Darkrai ⁂

Featured Five-Star Raids
The following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids:

• October 1st to 6th: Raikou ⁂ / Entei ⁂ / Suicune ⁂
• October 6th to 20th: Guzzlord ⁂
• October 20rd to 31st: Darkrai ⁂

Mega Raids
The following Mega-Evolved Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids:

• October 1st to 6th: Mega Gardevoir ⁂
• October 6th to 20th: Mega Gengar ⁂
• October 20th to 31st: Mega Banette ⁂

Other upcoming events in October
All times in the event listing below are based on Trainer's local times

• Out to Play, which starts September 27th at 10:00am, will continue through to October 2nd, at 8:00pm
• A yet to be announced event will run from October 5th at 10:00am to October 9th at 8:00pm
• GO Battle Weekend will run from October 7th at 12:00am to October 8th at 11:59pm
• Harvest Festival will run from October 12th at 10:00am to October 17th at 8:00pm
• An unannounced Community Day event will run on October 15th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm - Based on the announced Pokéstop Showcases, this is believed to be a Timburr Community Day
• Incense Day will run on October 21st, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm)
• Halloween 2023 Part 1 will run from October 19th at 10:00am to October 26th at 10:00am
• Halloween 2023 Part 2 and the Team GO Rocket Takeover will run together from October 26th at 10:00am to October 31st at 8:00pm
