Funko expands its Pokémon lineup with new Pearlescent Pikachu figure, more Pokémon Pop! vinyl figures to be released throughout the rest of this year

Funko, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company International, has officially released a new pearlescent variant of the 353 Pikachu figure from the Pop! Games subset of Funko's Pop! line of vinyl figures. The figure is the first in a line dedicated to the pearlescent design, all of which will be available exclusively via the Pokémon Center online store in the US, Canada, and UK.

This pearlescent Pikachu vinyl is made with the same mold as the Pop! Games 353 Pikachu design first released in 2018, with the defining characteristic of this variant being its shimmering, iridescent shine. Other previously released variants of this mold include a 10" inch version that was exclusive to Target stores, and a version featuring flocked fur that was exclusive to GameStop.

Fans can sign up for email announcements and newsletters for new releases from this collection on the Pokémon Center website in their region. Based on both past releases in the Pop! Games line, and the imagery presented on the website prompting fans to subscribe to this list, it's likely that the figures coming later this year will include Bulbasaur (#453), Charmander (#455), Squirtle (#504), Eevee (#577), and Mewtwo (#581).

This special Pikachu Funko POP retails on the Pokémon Center online store at a price of $14.99 USD for customers in the United States, $19.99 CAD in Canada, and £12.99 GBP in the UK. As of writing, the figure is currently sold out, though the website does seem to suggest that additional shipments will be made available in future.
