Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket's first deluxe pack, Deluxe Pack: ex, which was originally available as a limited-time booster between September 29th and October 29th, 2025, is making a return to the game for roughly the next two weeks. Players will once again be able to open boosters from this set until January 28th, at 4:59pm (PST).

The newest Wonder Pick Event in Pokémon TCG Pocket brings new Heliolisk and Bunaeary promo cards to the game's Wonder Pick feature, along with a selection of limited time Goomy-themed event items to the in-game shop. This event will run through to January 19th. The newest Ranked Match Season, for the Crimson Blaze expansion, is also underway, running through to January 25th.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is ringing in the New Year 2026 with a set of special New Year Missions, and a Mareep Drop Event. Premium Pass holders are also getting their own special treat, with a new Ditto promo card, new Premium Missions, and new Mega Charizard Y themed items being added to the Premium Shop.

A Holiday Campaign is currently underway in Pokémon TCG Pocket, where players will be able to buy Poké Gold at a great discount, and earn various rewards by completing event missions, and obtain a gift of Pack Hourglass from the development team. This campaign will run through to January 7th, 2026.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has launched the Crimson Blaze Emblem Event, giving players the opportunity to acquire emblems to set on their in-game player profiles. This event is set to run through to December 30th, at 9:59pm (PST).

A new trailer and press release have provided players with their first look at Pokémon TCG Pocket's next Themed Booster Pack, Crimson Blaze, which is set to launch worldwide on worldwide next week on Tuesday December 16th at 10:00pm (PST) / Wednesday December 17th at 6:00am (UTC), along with revealing a selection of events and new app features coming to the game throughout the Holiday Season and into the New Year.

With almost a month gone since the First Anniversary of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, it seems a bit of a stretch that the game is extending the celebrations even further, but a second set of First Anniversary Celebration Special Missions has been released, which will run all the way through to December 17th, at 5:59am (UTC) / December 16th, at 9:59pm (PST). These missions, which require players to complete basic tasks such as logging in and participating in battles, will grant players booster packs from A series expansions.

A Mega Pidgeot ex Drop Event has now commenced in Pokémon TCG Pocket, running through to November 27th at 9:59pm (PST), offering players the opportunity to challenge a series of special solo battles to attempt to obtain promo card packs and other rewards.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is today launching a brand new Mega Rising Emblem Event, giving players the opportunity to acquire emblems to set on their in-game player profiles. This event, which is the first of its kind run since the Triumphant Light SP Emblem Event back in March, is set to run through to November 16th, at 9:59pm (PST).

To celebrate the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app reaching its first anniversary, The Pokémon Company International is hosting a pop-up event at Outernet, an events complex in central London that features screens covering its walls. The event will be held over two days, on November 8th and 9th, and will feature in-game prizes, game demos, and other digital experiences and festivities.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is celebrating its first anniversary on October 30th, also commemorating the launch of the first expansion of the "B Series", Mega Rising, which is now available in-game. To celebrate, various events are being held as part of the First Anniversary Celebration Campaign. The distribution period for these prizes will be from October 30th at 6:00 am (UTC) / October 29th at 11:00 pm (PDT) to January 29th at 5:59 am (UTC) / January 28th at 9:59 pm (PST).

Pokémon TCG Pocket will be celebrating its First Anniversary on October 30th, and countdown missions are now underway. Players who log in for 5 days over the event period will obtain 5× Deluxe Pack: ex booster packs and a ★★ special illustration rare Eevee ex promo card.

Based on player feedback received after the release of the Deluxe Pack: ex expansion, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has released a statement about an update planned for the Card Dex feature. From now on, when players obtain a card that appears in multiple booster packs, it will be registered in the card dex for all corresponding booster packs. This update is planned for release in summer 2026 or later.

A Parallel Foil Cards Mass Outbreak Event has launched today in Pokémon TCG Pocket, offering players the opportunity to more easily acquire various parallel foil cards introduced in the Deluxe Pack: ex expansion. This event will run through to October 30th at 5:59am (UTC) / October 29th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has now officially announced its newest expansion, "Mega Rising", which is set to launch worldwide on worldwide next week on Thursday October 30th at 6:00am (UTC) / Wednesday October 29th at 11:00pm (PDT). The expansion will introduce Mega Evolved Pokémon ex to the game, and will consist of three booster packs. The announcement also includes a new trailer and a look at various cards from the set, along with revealing new app features and a selection of events coming to the game throughout November.

Following the mention in yesterday's messages from Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket's developers about a new expansion featuring Mega Evolution Pokémon being scheduled to release at the end of this month, fans have received their first look at booster packs from the upcoming expansion thanks to an update to the "How to play" on the game's official Japanese website.

Ahead of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket's first anniversary on October 30th, the game's developers have posted an announcement detailing a range of updates that will be coming to the game in the near future, as well as formally announcing a new expansion featuring Mega Evolution Pokémon that is scheduled to release at the end of this month.
