On August 5th, DeNA, the developers of Pokémon Masters EX and Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, released their financial results for the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year, which encompasses the months of April, May, and June. In their reports to investors, the company noted that the revenue and profit from its gaming business had decreased significantly, with sales revenue falling 33.2% year-on-year to ¥12.12 billion and segment profit falling 62.0% to ¥3.826 billion. DeNA attributed the decline in fiscal performance to TCG Pocket, which had 39 million monthly active users (MAU) over the same three-month period last year, but only 23 million during those months in 2026.

Pokémon TCG Pocket's next expansion, “Pulsing Aura”, is set to launch worldwide next week on Wednesday, July 29th at 6:00pm (PDT) / Thursday, July 30th at 1:00am (UTC). Various in-game events to take place throughout the next month have also been announced, including the limited-time return of Deluxe Pack: ex in late August.

The newest Wonder Pick Event in Pokémon TCG Pocket brings new Growlithe and Emolga promo cards to the game's Wonder Pick feature, along with a selection of limited time Puppy Pile-themed event items to the in-game shop. A new trailer has provided players with their first look at upcoming Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon TCG Pocket expansions that will be launching as part of the newly announced Soaring Mega Rayquaza (宙駆けるメガレックウザ) campaign in Japan. The Mega Evolution: Delta Reign (ストームエメラルダ Storm Emeralda) expansion for the physical game will release in Japan on July 30th, and internationally on November 6th.
