Prepare for another double-dose of Project VOLTAGE, with Nayutan Seijin's Esper Esper premiering today at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST)

Project VOLTAGE, the special art and music collaboration project between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku releases its next song today with the premiere of Esper Esper (ft. Hatsune Miku) (エスパーエスパー (ft.初音ミク)) by Nayutan Seijin (ナユタン星人). The music video is set to premiere on Nayutan Seijin's official YouTube channel today, Friday March 1st, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST). This will be followed up on Sunday March 3rd with an as yet untitled song from Kairiki Bear (かいりきベア).

Pokémon Sleep to hold an Electric Type Week event from March 11th, ahead of the arrival of Raikou later in the month - Dedenne to debut in this event

Sleep Researchers looking to prepare their helper Pokémon parties in Pokémon Sleep ahead of the debut of Raikou that was announced during the Pokémon Presents presentation are going to get a perfect chance in mid-March, with the arrival of a week-long event focused specifically on Electric-type Pokémon starting Monday March 11th at 4:00am local time, and running through to Monday March 18th at 3:59am local time.

Pokémon Masters EX's 4.5 Year Celebration is now underway, with a new Neo Champions event, Master Fair and 5★ Select Scouts, and a 3000 gem gift

As announced earlier during the Pokémon Presents presentation for Pokémon Day, a range of scouts, events and bonuses are launching in Pokémon Masters EX to celebrate the game's 4.5 year anniversary. The monthly message from the game's producers has also dropped, providing more detail on two of the Master Sync Pairs that will be making their debut as part of these anniversary celebrations. The next developer letter is slated for late March, and will include more information regarding new events and sync pairs coming to the game in April.

Pokémon GO marks the international release of Pokémon Horizons with a new collaboration event, starting March 5th

During the Pokémon Presents video presentation for Pokémon Day, it was announced that an event focusing on Pokémon from the animation Pokémon Horizons: The Series will be coming to Pokémon GO. This Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event will run from March 5th at 10:00am to March 11th at 8:00pm local time. Charcadet, Armarouge, Ceruledge, and Pikachu wearing Cap's hat will all make their Pokémon GO debuts during this event.

In what will undoubtedly be a somewhat controversial announcement for fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game dissatisfied with the performance of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, The Pokémon Company announced during today's Pokémon Presents video presentation a new free-to-start mobile app, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, which is scheduled for release later this year for iOS and Android devices. The app is developed by The Pokémon Company in partnership with Creatures Inc., who are responsible for design and planning of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and DeNA Co. Ltd., developers of Pokémon Masters EX.

Pokémon Legends Z-A announced during Pokémon Presents, game will launch simultaneously worldwide in 2025 on Nintendo Switch

Today's Pokémon Presents video presentation concluded with a short trailer announcing a new entry in the Pokémon core series, Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The game, which will have a simultaneous worldwide release on the Nintendo Switch, is apparently set in the middle of an urban redevelopment plan for Lumiose City, which is looking to redevelop and reshape the city to better serve both people and Pokémon.

Mattel to release MEGA construction set featuring Ash and Pikachu for Pokémon Day

The Pokémon Company International and Mattel announced today the newest addition to the MEGA construction toy line, Pokémon Ash & Pikachu: Path to Victory. The 1,646-brick set is scheduled to release on February 27th, in celebration of Pokémon Day 2024. Ash, who is the first buildable Pokémon Trainer by MEGA, will stand 12.9 inches tall when built. He and Pikachu are fully articulated and meant to be super poseable; Ash’s iconic cap can even be spun backwards to mimic his battle-ready stance in the Pokémon the Series anime.

Pokémon Sleep to receive maintenance on February 29th ahead of Version 1.3.0 update, with increases to max levels for Pokémon and certain main skills

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period this week on Thursday February 29th, ahead of a planned update of the software to Version 1.3.0. This maintenance period is expected to last for roughly 4 and a half hours, from 11:00am until 5:30am (UTC).
