Dogasu's Backpack | DVD Guide | Pokémon Advanced

Join Ash, May, Brock, and Max on their journey through the land of Hoenn as Pokémon Advanced makes its way to DVD!

The DVD's contain every episode of Pokémon Advanced as they aired on Kids' WB!  When fans first found out about these discs, many people noticed the "Includes Two Bonus Episodes!" blurb at the bottom of the cover and hoped that these two "Bonus Episodes" would be the then-undubbed Weekly Pokemon Broadcasting Station episodes.  As it turns out, the "Bonus Episodes" are merely the last two episodes of each volume that the VHS versions omit, meaning the DVD fans are getting the better deal.

A box set covering the first half of the series is also available.  It is unknown when (of if) a second box set will be released.

General Information
All of the following discs share the following in common:

  • All discs are Region One (U.S. and Canada only) encoded.
  • Apparently, all the episodes are dub-only and are the edited TV version as they aired on Kids' WB! in the U.S.A
  • All DVD's contain closed captionings.
  • VHS versions of these discs exist, but the VHS volumes omit certain episodes.
