Pokémon Creations Reference

Submission
Submission Process

Before continuing, please check and see if there is an existing section for the type of work you are submitting. Submission processes may vary depending on the type of work you are submitting.
  • Reference - This is a large section for fan-generated information. For example, fan-created Pokémon, Trainers, or Regions would be submitted to this section. Other types of reference are welcome as well, regardless of whether or not there is an existing section for it yet.
  • Fanfiction Library - This section is for Pokémon fanfiction, pure and simple.
  • Fanart Gallery - This section is for artwork of anything Pokémon related, even if it is of something else fan-created that appears on Pokémon Creations, like a scene from a fanfiction or a fan-created Pokémon. Art in this section is for display purposes only.
  • Cosplay Stage - This section is for any and all Pokémon-related cosplay.
  • Graphics Emporium - This section is for all Pokémon-related graphics available for public use. Icons, Dolls, Website Backgrounds and Wallpapers, for example, all fall into this catagory.
  • Crafts Fair - This section is for all Pokémon-related crafts, even if it is of something else fan-created that appears on Pokémon Creations, like a fan-created Pokémon or trainer. Patterns to make said crafts are also welcome.
If your submission does not fall into any of these catagories, feel free to submit anyway! We will not hesitate to create a brand new section for the single purpose of giving your fanwork a proper home.

The general submission guidelines for any fanwork are as follows:
  • It must be relevant to Pokémon in some manner.
  • It must be as complete as possible.
  • No excessive or distasteful mature content is permitted. Mature content includes but is not limited to nudity, sexual situations, violence, gore, and foul or offensive language. If used tastefully and in moderation, mature content will be accepted, but will be labeled so young or sensitive viewers are aware of the content.
  • Everything must show signs of effort and creativity.
  • Everything submitted must be your own work. Collaborations must have consent of all creators involved. We have a no-tolerance art theft policy. If we discover you are claiming someone else's work as your own, we will not host any work you have submitted to us, regardless of the type. Past submissions will be removed. We will display a public list of all art thieves we have encountered.
Several of the above areas could be considered a matter of opinion, and if you feel we have unfairly rejected your work, please feel free to debate it with us. However, please understand that in the end the decision is ours, not yours. If we do not accept your work, we will still gladly put a link in your profile to any places where you may have a collection of your work regardless of the content.

When submitting, please e-mail us with your name (online penname preferred) and your work or a link to a place where your work can be obtained. Address the e-mail as "New Submission" and send it to pokemoncreations@gmail.com. It will be read and responded to as promptly as possible, which may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on how busy the maintainers are. If accepted, it will be added to the site as quickly as possible. If rejected, we will be certain to tell you on what specific grounds it was rejected.

Thank you! We can't wait to see your Pokémon fanwork!
