Lindsay B. - Rachael Lillis has been an inspiration for me, and one of the main reasons I fell in love with anime in the first place. She was the first voice actress that I wrote to, way back in 1999, and when I recieved a letter back from her, I was so excited that I cried. The poster is still gracing my wall after almost 7 years. When I learned she did more voices, I began to look at those (her main one being Utena), and from there I expanded my anime knowledge to what it is today. I firmly believe that Rachael brings something to her characters that most people don't. She adds so much depth to them. Proof of this can be seen in the very beginning, in Episode 19, Tentacool and Tentacruel. The speech that Misty gives on top of the building is one of my favorites. You can hear the pleading in her voice, and it makes you sympathetic towards the character. She is one of the best in voice acting today, and it would break my heart not to hear her in these roles.
