Submission Process

We have a few restrictions on submitted artwork:
  • All images must be relevant to Pokémon in a non-obscure manner.
  • All images must be finished works.
  • Images can be submitted in any size. However, extremely large images may be resized so viewers can better see the whole image. We will do our best in resizing the image in a manner that preserves the details. If you do not trust us on this, feel free to resize the image yourself. If you have a reason to keep your image at its full size, please inform us of it and we will consider permitting it on the page at its full size.
  • No excessive or distasteful mature content is permitted. Mature content includes but is not limited to nudity, sexual situations, violence, gore, and foul or offensive language. If used tastefully and in moderation, mature content will be accepted, but will be labeled so young or sensitive viewers are aware of the content.
  • Any artwork that does not show any signs of effort, such as indistinguishable scribbles or stickfigures, will not be accepted.
  • All of the artwork must be your own work. Collaborations must have consent of all artists involved. We have a no-tolerance art theft policy. If we discover you are claiming someone else's work as your own, we will not host the stolen images nor any other work you have submitted to us, fanart or otherwise. Past submissions will be removed. We will display a public list of all art thieves we have encountered.
Several of the above areas could be considered a matter of opinion, and if you feel we have unfairly rejected your fanart, please feel free to debate it with us. However, please understand that in the end the decision is ours, not yours. We will gladly put a link in your profile to any places where you may have a collection of your artwork regardless of the content.

Also, keep in mind this is the section for art for purely display purposes, not the section for any wallpaper or graphics you wish to share with the public. There is a separate section for all works intended for public use, such as wallpapers and graphics.

When submitting artwork, please include the following things in an e-mail:
  • Your name (online penname preferred)
  • The title of the piece
  • The image itself, whether attached to the e-mail or with a link provided to a place where the image can be downloaded
  • Mediums and/or programs used (list as many as necessary)
  • Comments you would like to have accompanying the picture
Address the e-mail as "Fanart Submission" and send it to pokemoncreations@gmail.com. It will be reviewed and responded to as promptly as possible, usually in the span of a few days. If accepted, it will be put in the gallery as quickly as possible. If rejected, we will be certain to tell you on what specific grounds it was rejected.

Thank you! We can't wait to see your Pokémon fanart!
